As he promised last night on Twitter, Cole just let go of Truly Yours 2. I haven’t had a chance to listen to any of it yet (except for Cole Summer, which dropped earlier today and is sick), but I’m sure it is awesome. The mini-project is a group of 6 songs that did not make it onto Born Sinner, some due to quality and others due to not matching the album conceptually. Cole handled a lot of the production himself, but also got help from Canei Finch and Jake One. There is one feature from Bas, and artist signed to Cole’s Dreamville label. I can’t wait to hear these six tracks, and I’m sure that once I do I will be looking forward to June 25th even more in anticipation of Born Sinner.
P.S. I love the cover art for these Truly Yours tapes. I’m not even being sarcastic; I actually think it’s really original.
